Wow,  an initiative against the misery and laughableness of the American mental health system.

That is not all of misery and laughableness. I have been a target of  gangstalking and MC for 18 years and a German psychiatric nurse told me in Thailand I would have no problem in psychiatry if I behave. Normally the nurse could not know me.
A German social worker tried to promote psychiatry to me in Malaysia. He also normally could not know me.

It may be that I should be brought down by harassment  and then tricked to accept the mental health system.
It may be even worse that the harassment is designed to bring you to a break down to get you in the mental health system.

I state no matter how a mental health system  is there must be always the freedom if you accept it or not if you go there or not or you try it on your own. Abuses can be on any level.

I was once pushed to participate in a certain form of therapy. I refused to do it, but also blamed myself for not doing it. Later I found out that this therapy can be dangerous for certain people probably also me.
Uninformed dissent, just a no must be always a normal thing.

I state also that psychiatry how it is built cannot accepted as the mental health system. There should be a variety of approaches for mental health. There have been others others but these approaches never grow big.

Psychiatry is the mental health system of choice of the governments.
It serves its interests and those who are close to it but not the interests of the people labeled mental ill. Those people are not taken serious and so can hardly defend their interests. People and governments often  just step over them.
Because the governments make decisions for all but serves mainly its interests when it can, which is easily possible with the mental ill, psychiatry dominates the system.
